... It's my own fault, fell asleep with some knitting and art manuals in my lap again. I was dreaming about visiting a friend of mine in his studio and trying to decide what kinds of paints I wanted to buy...the artistic version of the "Kid in a candy store" dream, I think:) I've been thinking of a small series I want to try; something along the lines of the green men you see in very old churches. Maybe a color sequence with blue then green then reds or something.
I'll probably sketch a few things at lunch and see what seems to work and what doesn't.
Meanwhile the test jacket I've been making at home is taking shape nicely. I think I want some darker lopi yarn or something for trim, just to give it a bit of an accent. (The jacket is in a mix of different dark and light grays; going from dark to light as you move up the body. It reminds me of the gradation of color you get in very dark stormclouds. I think it'll be good to show off scarves.)
But lo, I am most thwarted by the Inferno today...lots of stuff to do. But I have my Bi-Monthly Minion. Where's that bullwhip of mine? *rustle rustle* Oh yeah, I put it in the box fulla Furbys...
*whack whack*
Rock N' Rolllllll!
