msfledermaus...so I came in a little early to catch up. At least a bit, anyway...
The Republican National Convention's already on my nerves...a woman can't listen to MPR in peace without hearing our Fearless Leader or his cronies blathering about what a *great* job they've been doing. Pfeh. Roll on November, I tell ya.
Meanwhile, I'm about halfway done with the second sleeve of the jacket I've been working on. Woowoo! Then I can root around for the wooden buttons I've got--somewhere. And do some funky embellishing. I need to line at least the cuffs and the collar with something too; this jacket is on the scratchy side. Heh, I'm also almost done with a purple bag on bamboo handles. At this rate of knitting, maybe I don't need a knitting machine after all...just a lot of Red Bull.
Grrrr...just got off the phone with my vendor rep. He's full of apologies for two missed shipments I needed this week. Never mind he smoothly assured me my custormer service wouldn't suffer after he laid off an entire warehouse full of his drivers and staff. I'm still extremely frustrated by the whole sorry thing. *grumbles into tea* Hey, buying post-its for Dante's Minimalist Inferno was never supposed to be easy, right? Dammit, my horns are lopsided again...
