I feel fortunate this morning...
Nov. 16th, 2004 07:14 amI do. I'm sitting here playing on my computer, eating breakfast and making tea. I'm not rich, but I'm employed. I have yarn and paint and books and movies. I have people who love me, who I love deeply in return. I have most excellent friends. Most of the weird stuff I can try to fix or work around, but my basic Mausi life is one that makes me happy...and I have to admit, I've been going hoppity-skip since I heard about Ashcroft and Powell's resignations. Now the Merde alor shall surely hit the proverbial fan, which I think can't be anything but useful somehow.
I'm thankful for a lot of things. god, that sounds so stupid, but it's true.
What are you thankful for? Thanksgiving's a-comin, may as well excercise the thankful muscles before then, yes? all the better to deal with the massive loads of tryptophan...

This is a good lead-up for New Year's resolutions - all the things I want to work on to make better in my life....
