Floods, fire, famine, sadness, death...

And personally, most of the technical stuff i have or work with has gone haywire. I strained my shoulder at work, and got my boss really pissed off at me for it. I'm stepping up my job search...my goal is to find something by the end of the month. anything. Part time, whatever. The place is ruining my pysical and mental health. I do have some things I can check out--I took this ffriday off to celebrate my birthday a little early....maybe I can get a new job as a present...

I'm scared, but that place is making it so hard to work there. all the other departments seem stressed, and what's left of mine is *really* stressed. I tell people that they're overburdening the job, and they pooh-pooh it, and then punish me when it turns out I'm right.

They will help your computer run and behave like it should for free !

I hope so...I'm losing what's left of my little mind...

Lessee...the it guys say my work computer, which is an old Imac has a major hardware prob and needs to be scrapped...plus the screen pales and darkens all by itself until I whack it repeatedly. the fax lines at work are wonky from the construction and vibration...my spanking new dvd/vcr player won't play discs anymore, so I have to return it. My home machine....is actually running pretty well. I'm grateful for small favors:)

My travel plans are up in the air (dammit). I wish clients could schedule a little better!!! I was hoping to be in town Tuesday. I'll e-mail later today what I know (or don't know). I may need to rain check to the 17th, when I KNOW I will be in town.
