Hope all the other Midwesterners out there are staying warm enough...I think it'll be okay if we just all layer...a lot. And the Ms Mausi Scarf Lending Library is open!! Who wants a red and black striped mohair scarf?

Meanwhile...not too much news on the family front. I did get a call from the MIA, so we're playing telephone tag now. Keep your fingers crossed for me, willya? I could use the luck.

The picture is actually a demonstration of how to use your hand to project an image of a partial eclipse, which is a bit prosaic compared to Gamera, so I propose that we all pretend it shows how to make a hand shadow of a Japanese monster. Much more fun!
