At least it's kind of quiet. No, it's really not bad at all; I was just feeling grouchy and hormonal. I'm still a little grouchy and hormonal, but the kitties here are helping with that, purring and snuggling and headbutting me for pets. It's hard to be grouchy with a big gray cat giving you beeseeching looks and making little inquisitive "Prrt?" noises.

Ben and Petey are letting me play with the laptop before dinner...Ben's hand-grinding curry since he ran out of the other stuff. There are warm candles and yellow and orange snacks. Tangerines in a bowl. Intoxicating smells coming from the kitchen. Cheezy poofs. Dried apricots. 89.3--the Current, playing an indie James Bond theme...

Okay, being Out of the House again isn't *all* bad... heh, actually I'm being spoiled rotten.
