I love watching the sun come up...

...I've got this great view of the East out my windows, so I get the best view of the sun coming up over the city in the morning. And today it's really good, pink and lavender clouds streaking the horizon....sheesh, not THAT kind of streaking!!! Can you get your mind out of the gutter and just look at the sun?

Oh god, not directly at it...I can't take you anywhere, can I? The spots will fade in a minute, just keep your eyes shut for a little while...

I start my new job this morning. Woowoo! I don't have to be there till 10, so that leaves me a bit of time to be online and knit and putter. Not a bad way to start something new.
