Hmmm, I think everyone I know is going to come up as a droid. I expected to and did.

I'm actually looking forward to the movie. I've watched the trailers and it looks like a good action flick anyway. Of course, there are lots of ways it could be bolluxed. I mean, Jar Jar, Ewoks, Greedo shooting first. Lucas will find a way.

I am really excited about Episode III. The trailers all look really good, and apparently, it does an excellent job of connecting the first/last 3 to the second/fisrt series. That gets so confusing to explain. The original Star Wars will always feel like the first one to me, even if it is now considered to be episode IV.

I have high hopes for the third movie. It would be kinda hard to screw up since it pretty much has to go a certain way:
- the Jedi have to die
- Anakin has to turn bad
- Dooku has to die
- Palpatine becomes the emperor
- Yoda goes into hiding
- Pademe gets knocked up and has twins

Not a lot of wiggle room to cause problems. Though I am a bit concerned about any explaination about R2 & C3PO getting their memories wiped, or why Chewbacca is (I've heard) showing up in the movie. But the trailers look really good. I'm crossing my fingers.

I dunno about that. With all the deaths that have to happen, that seems like a lot of loose ends get fixed pretty neatly. That and the 20ish years between this film and "A New Hope" can account for a lot.
