...they give you ideas to paint when you're walking around and around and around...I just had this idea for a new tarot card I want to try based on this 18th century Italian funeral torch. It has a skeleton with gilded wings holding up the main torch, standing on another skull. Luuuuuvely....
(BTW, I'm not very far along on the deck I'm still working on, for those of you who are curious. I tried to hurry the first ones along and they just looked like hell. Now the ones I've got finished (or almost) seem a bit more cohesive. And now that I'm working at the new place, I have better inspirational viewing:)
I should ask Ben the Neighbor if I can put in some of the cards I've finished onto the website....


which reminds me; I must feed Ben curry...Gobs and gobs of curry until he has to roll himself home. this will make me very very happy. Muahahahahaha!

Those darn curry parties of which you describe always make me so hungry! Also, don't know if you are a Camper Van Beethoven fan, but they are playing the Orpheum soon -- they were really great when I saw them out here in "We are too cool to dance" land so I bet they would be fantastic in Minne where as I recall people dance all the time -- just to break up the horizon lines, much less seriously groove!

Bummer! I didn't realize every Tuesday was knitting night. Ooops!

I'm expecting a very small crowd (1-3), and I'd love it if you could make it. Should I make it earlier or later? (too bad I can't make it tonight). I know Sam can't make it.
