...We're kind of having another storm right now; not much rain but thunder and lightning.
When I was getting ready for work I saw this huge flash next door at the old Crackstack I used to live in, one that lit up the whole building, and then the boom. Most dramatic! Then when I walked past the building I saw that the crabapple tree in front of the Stack was split in half. The caretaker (this nice guy I remember from when I lived there) was sweeping the front steps, and I waved him over and we gawked at the damage, going, "Wowww, glad nobody was under that!" and "That's really spooky-looking!"

I should call Ben the Neighbor and see if he um, "did" something I should know about. I can see the conversation:
Me: "Bennnn, did you summon any Thunder gods to smite the Crackstack this morning?"
Ben: "What, this morning?"
Me: "Yes, this morning, it got smote pretty good, actually."
Ben: "Any fires or mini-tornados or tentacles coming from the sky?"
Me: " Uhh...not that I'm aware of."
Ben:"Damn! I mean, I had nothing to do with anything like that, not that you know of...."

So there you are...
