This morning's going a lot more smoothly than yesterday did--I think Mondays here at the new job aren't going to be the greatest. But well, it was a Monday, wasn't it? *shrug*

I've got knitting tonight again, which I'm looking forward to. My yarn basket is literally overflowing with yarny goodness, so I need to make some pretty stuff to lighten the stash a mite. (You can tell I'm really broken up by this, no?) I'm trying to pick some smallish projects since it just too damn hot to sit and make a sweatery thing, no matter how dedicated (or, er, obessesive) a knitter I am.

Stay nice and cool in whatever breezy stuff you can find...and I will too. Hot...is...bad....

My aunt Helen, who worked in a leprosy colony in Africa years ago, always wears a knitted shawl. Even in the hot, muggy, Iowa summers. She has always dressed this way as long as I can remember.

If you own a t-shirt that says "Closed on Mondays" you shouldn't have to work Mondays.
