msfledermaus...I'm home after a longish day at the Jade Mines:) I made some shrimp and corn chowder, and I'm stretching out on the floor with the keyboard because I'm too lazy to move my coffee table over. (Plus I don't want to spill my still-cooling chowder. Mmmm!)
With the weird schedule still, it's hard to get to a place where your brain can do something thoughtful. I'm damn tired today. part of me wants to spill out all kinds of thoughtful, complex thoughts and play around with them, toss them up in the air and see them shine, maybe play a game of verbal catch with someone. But...tired. And it's damn hot, too. I was so grateful when I got home for my air conditioner, for the popsicles in the fridge, for the lemonade-and-club-soda I made myself. (It's magical: one half club soda, one half lemonade. Cardamon sprinkled over the top if you wanna be foofy. Lots of ice. Magical, I tell ya.)
