Yesterday was not very productive...

No, no it wasn't. But I got to rest a lot and catch up on my sleep. I was trying to putter with some projects that were all calling my name, and part of me said, "You know, if you're this tired you shouldn't be attempting anything with a screwdriver, don't you think?"

So I obeyed my inner slacker and sacked out on the couch with a book and some knitting.
And avoided the news...which I will look at in a minute. It's still hard to digest the true scope of the New Orleans cataclysm; it's just so big and horrific and sad....

Anyway, off to give Captain Emily the Tim Burton book I bought for her to say thank you for the dragon puppet she bought me...
