Knitting Night = good stuff, though I had this insane urge to steal the wee pumpkin on the table. (I didn't; I am a good Maus. But I wanted to. I should buy my own pumpkins, then I wouldn't be tempted by the pumpkins of others...)

I had another drunk guy wandering up the street while I was waiting for the bus, punching walls and digging in the trash. He started shouting incoherently when I got on my bus. I didn't think it would come to anything but the cellphone in my pocket sure made me feel better.)

There was a kitty that scared the crap out of me at first when I got near work--his crying sounded like raised voices until I got a little closer and heard the distinctive "Mew! Mew! Mew, dammit, feed me!!"
He didn't get close, but he was still very pretty...

I started reading "American Gods" again last night. It's all that "Mirrormask" and "Anansi Boys" advertising that's done it...
