10 things I really like about being an adult...

1: (First and foremost) Control, control, control. I control what I wear, what I eat who I talk to, what I read, who and what I have in my home and work and play. When I sleep. How much bath-goop I have in my bathroom. Quite a lot of bath-goop, now that I think about it... Awwwyeah...

2: I can afford the occasional cool book or sweater or toy. I can't help but prance around in my GIR slippers whenever possible at home, and I have whole shelves devoted to comics...

3: The occasional late night with drinks and loud music and dancing. *Oonce oonce oonce oonce oonce*

4: Having enough practice to zoom along on a keyboard at roughly 65 words a minute, confounding my non-typing cow-irkers. Wheeeeeeeee!!!!!!

5: The fact that bullying and hitting and whatnot can land someone in *jail* instead of (maybe, rarely) getting a stern talking to from an adult. I like that a lot. Of course, the smart bullies are a hell of a lot more sophisticated now...

6: Being allowed to use the stove and the oven. I really want to make some brownies or something right now.

7: *grins sheepishly* Oh yeah; some of that. Lower, lower...Ooh, the right shoulder, please...

8: I still look good in twin ponytails and the occasional kneesocks.

9: I work like a crazywoman to afford big plates of sushi from time to time...

10: The Internet started to get good when I was in my early 20's:)

So there you are...
