...and a four-day weekend with Halloween in there somewhere is one of them:) I spent my trot to work looking at the waining moon, and thinking, "Ooh, it'll be the dark of the moon around Monday, how cool is that? End of things, beginning of things, all that kind of lovely stuff."
It's also a little comforting to have Orion in the sky this time of year...no reason, it just pleases me...
I think this year I'll get into my old Fairy Goth-Mother outfit, complete with tiara, wand, black spidery skirt and shawl, black eyeliner (like I wear any other kind) and glittery fairy wings. I have to pick up the wings yet:P Oh shucky-darn, I have to go to Teeners and play in the costume rack. Poor, poor pitiful meeee...
Meanwhile back at the MausHaus I have another skein of yarn I finished last night. More alpaca with some pinks and blues and slight light green variations I mixed in. There's even a bit of some kind of light tinsely stuff in the dyed roving I bought, and it's interesting next to the foxy brown of the llama wool. Who says obsession isn't a pretty thing?:)
So there you are...

It's not fall or winter without Orion in the sky, all cold and frosty and eternal..
