I don't know why you're unhappy. I haven't seen the new movie, yet, so I haven't seen Krum, but so far he's the hottest guy available. And by the end of book six it seems clear to me he's going to end up being the most complex and interesting hero in the series.

Yes, this is very true...and he dresses well, and swishes around wonderfully in all that black and whatnot but--but--he KILLS DUMBLEDORE!!! He DOES! It would be a horrible match: "Hi, Honey, how was work?"
"I killed Dumbledore today, darling."
"Oh shit....so that's us off the staff holiday party, huh?"

I mean, it just wouldn't work out!!!

Ah. I buy into the theory that Dumbledore was going to die anyways, and that whole charged exchange between the two was about Dumbledore saying "go ahead and kill me, that way we can get some benefit out of my death by you keeping credibility as a mole". Don't forget that we know that Dumbledore and Snape are capable of telepathic conversation.

So in this theory, it would be more like

"Hi, Honey, how was work?"
"Darling, I'm miserable. Dumbledore made me kill him today, and now I have to go in deep cover with the Death Eaters."

I haven't heard that theory yet...that does make things more interesting.
I was sort of going into the massive torn-hearted "I finally gave in to the Dark Side and killed Dumbledore because I'm madly in love with Draco's Mom and promised her to help her son no matter what the cost! NO MATTER WHAT!!! ARRRGH!!!"

So that makes things harder in a relationship...that and I'd keep stealing that fantastic cloak of his...
