Whew! Finally got on again...

msfledermausI just had to wait for my moment to toss some cookies to the other half of the breakroom and go, "Look! SNACKS!" And then, the computer was mine all mine:)
I got shanghaied yesterday by my apartment concierge--there was a party going on and I was *going* to go, no matter how much laundry I had to do. So I stuffed lots of black clothes into the washers and ate way too many little creme puffs and played wacky games...(I won a gift certificate for dry cleaning and everything. I think I would have preferred the travel mugs and the pound of coffee, but what the hell...)
At least it was incentive for getting a chore done, though it's always awkward hanging around with virtual stangers and making conversation: "Hi, I'm Michelle, I'm up on eight, is that YOU playing all that Led Zep all the time across the hall?"
Anyway, back to the jade mines for me...ooh, lookit the snacks!
*dives for the muffins, leaving the computer free*
