...I've been trying to figure out if there is a single movie out there I should care at all about seeing...short of "Curse of the Wererabbit" which is a no-brainer. I'm currently looking at a big ad for the second Underworld movie. Oog. I'd go see it, since it's all dark and vampiric and whatnot, except for already sat through the first one. Yikes. Bad dialogue, bad acting,bad effects, bad bad baddity bad bad bad...

Whaddaya think? Anybody seen anything good lately?

I liked the new Woody Allen movie. Match Point? I liked it better than Munich or Brokeback Mountain or King Kong.

Thou shalt not badmouth Kate - thou knoweth. I luuuuvvvvv Underworld!! I know I shouldn't and I know Lucian is a runty little man who looks like he couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag and Bill Nighy just doesn't convince with a sword and Scott Speedman is a plank and the story is overblown and undercooked at the same time and and and BUT Erika is brilliant, all bitchy and co-dependant, the black guy doesn't die, Kraven is soooo crap it's hilarious and when Kate drops off the building at the beginning I just kind of go ooooohhhh. Having said that :) I'd highly recommend March of the Penguins - totally undemanding, looks lovely, no CGI, penguins falling over is always funny and there are a couple of shots in it which are genuinely awesome. Really - actually, awesome.

I know, I'm being horrible about Underworld, and I admit Kate is fabu...she's the only reason I sat through the entire thing, really.

Heh, I saw Charlie and the Chocolate factory last night at last...why oh why did I put that one off? It was AMAZING!!! So very very good:)
