The sky wants to storm...
May. 10th, 2006 09:05 am...I'm glad I have an extra umbrella tucked away in my locker. I spazzed out and didn't bring one with me to the bus stop. Meh...
I didn't sleep well. I had bad dreams about my old job and woke up early and tired. I know things are gonna be okay, I just have to let my anxiety attack wear off a little. It helps that I get to be all bossy again today at work:) And it's going to be a short week--I'm taking a little time off to see people and be rested and to have a mental break before things get REALLY busy at work here.
I've been drawing funky things for Ben the Neighbor, too--He and Ms Kitty were making jokes about how June 6, 2006 adds up to 666. "The Devil WOULD come on a Tuesday." Ms Kitty was quoted as saying. We thought it was so funny that I made a fake band poster--Oak Grove Coven presents, "The Devil WOULD come on a Tuesday" complete with a horse-skull-faced devil puppet with a suitcase in one hand and a board with a nail through it in the other. (I think Ben can scan the picture for me--I have to stick it in the website. Arrrgh, another project!) The next poster's going to be, "In Las Vegas, it's always Tuesday" with a crowd scene and a Where's Waldo-Style devil puppet hidden in it. I am liking it veeeeeery much, thank you...anybody needs some fake rock posters for nonexistent bands? You know where to come now, don't you? *grin*
And oh yeah, spinning wool, spinning wool...I spun some sunsetty stuff with some glittery metallic gold strands I added. I'll two-ply it after work and see how it looks. Must...take...pictures!!!!
