...It's hot spinning wool in the summer, it seems:) Maybe I should switch to cotton. I suspect most of the heat is all the consistent high-speed treadling I've been doing with the wheel. (Techno+wool+Maus=feet-blurring action.)

Anyway, workies today and then off to help a friend move some boxes for a bit until I get tired and have to go to bed. Oop, must go clip the tie...

Are you required by ukase to wear the Official Clip-On Tie, with the institution's name woven into the fabric, or do you use a clip-on to save time? I used to be a clip-on man, myself, until an overbearing college roommate took it upon himself to teach me how to tie the "real" ones. Once I knew, I became entranced with the varieties of tie fabrics, and I began to collect ties. I now have about 20 ties, including 2 with anteaters on them, but, now that I don't go into an office, I have no place to wear them.

I am required to wear the clippie for safety reasons, so that any old maniac (Or my captain on duty)can't grap me by the tie and throttle the life outtta me. We all want to burn our new ties, because our spanking-new logo is butt-uglyin that special 80's kind way. Sadly, non-MIA ties just don't do it for the bossmen:/

I like ties and scarves myself...drapey things are good stuff:)
