Summer kinda sucks, sometimes...

...Thursday night I had a huge migraine and could not sleep at all. I called in sick, since I felt like the top of my head was coming off and I was nearly insane besides from lack of sleep. I blame summer--the pollen, the heat, the stickyness. I know there's lots of good things about summer, but it's a season I tend to struggle through, not enjoy. At least autumn is right on the heels of summer, and that's what I really live for:) (Okay, I do enjoy the huge whacking thunderstorms like we had last night as long as nobody gets hurt. Wowwww, was that ever dramatic; lightning and hail and winds and the sky looking like doom. Great stuff!)


But, feeling much better in general. Back at work and everything. So there you are.

I feel the same way. I like summer when I'm at the cottage (usually, although hot days there usually involve inhaling some of the miasma from the 'moss' that forms in hot weather) because it's open and there is no concrete.

But then I have to come home. I also tend to struggle through it. I guess there is just no pleasing me.
