Jun. 28th, 2006 09:19 am...This morning I finished knitting this sort of appealing lumpy purse I made out of strips of an old wool shirt that had seen it's last days. I think with some good lining and some bamboo handles it'll be kinda cute in a retro-punkish way. I know the knitting-with-old-fabric-thing isn't exactly new, but it's comforting to know that if I ever become an Apocalyptic bag-lady in my old age I'll have stuff to knit with...
Things are quietly positive otherwise. Lots of rest this weekend, which was sorely needed. I have my preliminary doctor's appointment in late July, so I have a combination of nervousness and relief. (Basically it'll be the docs figuring out how to approach the removal of the fibroids. *gulp*)
Heh, it's time for me to punch in...more soon when I feel more inspired.
