It's going to be pretty miserable today, weather-wise. The Jade Mines were packed since museums have the best a/c in the business, and everyone was too grateful for the cool air to really act up. I think it'll be like that again today. I just want it all out of the way so I can retreat to the coolness and drink ice water and nap. At least the nice thing about Minnesota is that hot weather, while a grim summer reality, never really lasts that long here.
If you can grit your teeth and plod through the hot stuff for a week or two then that's it--you're done for the most part. Cold weather, well, that's another thing entirely...

It's even too hot to knit. It's way too hot to spin. It's almost too hot to think. Buhhhhhhhhhh....

I hate that its too hot to knit. I have been knitting cotton dishcloths just cuz it is the only material I can seem to tolerate at this point due to the heat. I have also reserved all my knitting for the call center, where they have air conditioning. ugh, why am I sitting in front of the hot computer?

The hot weather has hung on persistently this summer. The weathermen usually say we have an average of 9 days/summer that gets into the 90s. We've not only used up this year's quota, but at least part of next year's too.

yeah...I think this is slowly becoming the shape of our new summers. I would really love to be wrong, honest:)
