Work and rest and work and rest...
Oct. 15th, 2006 02:52 pm...I feel good about getting through this week at work now that I can walk around and such.
But I must confess I am a tired Maus. I was warned that I would be, and I took it seriously enough to do little things to keep my energy going. But...a couple of days off is going to feel sooooooo good...Feet up. On the couch. Oh baby baby...
Another good thing about being back at work is shoveling money at my medical bill. It's not as bad as it could have been, though it was big enough to make me gulp when I opened the envelope. I'm so glad I have decent medical insurance right now. For awhile I didn't, and that was scary enough. And not fun-scary October scary, either. Which reminds me--I have lots of fun stuff to look forward to this month, like a party and a weekend off and meeting various cool people and drinking stuff out of tiki mugs with them. This is a much better thing to think about on a day like this. Mmmmmm, tiki fun with pizza...
But for now it's just nice to think about winding up my work week and resting my rapidly healing body...and not think about the new mountain range in my apartment: Scary Mount Laundry. I'll worry about that later...much later...

Date: 2006-10-16 01:33 am (UTC)I remembered the dress made from meat that was at the Walker while I was living in Mpls--- I first saw it around 1995? -1998?. It got all dried up and now looks like a dress made from beef jerky IMHO.
But I can't remember WHO did that dress.
Do you remember it? Is it still there?

I don't think it's been on display for quite some time.
