msfledermaus...I spent Thanksgiving with the parental units, which was nice and quiet. Then later I went to Dave and Reb's house for the Turkey-and-pie blowout they have every year...great Googaly Moogaly, such pies they had. Raspberry and lemon curd and chocolate pecan and pumpkin and tiramisu tart and chocolate creme and...*brain fritzes out from pie overload*

Uhh, I like pie...
Now I'm back at the Mines in the monkey suit. Not a bad thing--they just finished decorating for the holidays. (I was helping our boss set the motion detectors for the period rooms. My job? Reaching over the barriers to steal the fake Christmas turkey. I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for those meddling kids...) The Duluth Room is also all glowly with lights and ornaments, and they have the Mikado playing in the background. I loooooooooove the Mikado. I'll catch myself humming bits and pieces of it while I'm working...usually the Eric Idle version of "I've got a little list, I've got a little list..."
And I bet you do, too. What's on it? I'm dying of curiosity...
