msfledermaus...But it's my weekend, so I'm all better now after a lot of sleep and some chicken curry:)
So much better in fact that I finished up alllll of Annablume's creatures. Which means I have more time to make a few more for someone else and do some Holiday shopping soon. But right now, it's enough to be at a friend's house, relaxing with a couple of cats and playing with the laptop. I love me the Interwebs:) Ben the Neighbor hooked me to a couple of YouTube videos that had me on the floor with glee--if you look for "Shoes" and "You can't text-message breakup" you'll see what I mean. (The blonde valley-girl drag queen is the sign of quality...the background pictures in the frames alone are worth the trouble.) I can NEVER buy shoes again without some sick part of me hearing, "These shoes are three hundred f$#king dollars...LET'S GET 'EM!" Never. Ben decided long ago it was his job to expose me to as much brain-scarring videos as possible, and because of him I now have the Rammstein Snow-White video in my head, various things involving dolphin-puppets you really don't wanna know about, and now this.
I'm going to have to get some serious payback and strap him to a chair to watch endless Brothers Quay until he cracks...
I've also realized that there's some kind of addictive substance in those damn Ikea shelving units. I helped set some up this afternoon and even after all the struggling and slotting and fidgeting and "What IS this and where does it go?!?" I admitted I liked them veeeeeeery much. It doesn't help that I have fun friends (er, the Queen of Stuff actually) that always go to Ikea with me and insist on stuffing the stuffy mice into the stuffy snakes mouths and running away. Ikea nesting instinct, you are eeeeeevil...
