The Swedishness...the Swedishness...
Dec. 22nd, 2006 07:21 amI was at Ben and Peaty's last night for the Solstice. It was so good to see the Peaty again, back from Sweden at last, and we ate verrrrrry interesting Swedish food for dinner. (Nothing like Lutefisk, I'm happy to report, though there was a fair amount of sauerkraut. Blechk.) I'm still under the weather a bit and had an early shift in the morning, so I pumpkined around nineish. It makes me kind of sad...I really wish I was better at staying up late, and every time I run into that particular wall I disappoint people and myself.:/
This holiday is kind of stressful. I think it's time for the return of "the After the Holidays Holiday" where I send people all kinds of stuff AFTER x-mas, when there's time to actually concentrate. I propose we make it 2 weeks after x-mas, and call it, "Mausmas." Any takers?
Anyway, off to go consume mass quantities of fudge until my jaws lock up...
