...Now if only I can stop the speed-metal loop going in my head because of it...I could use the Matt-Howarth style ClangMan right now. (Like an old-school Sony Walkman, only there's clanging to distract you from whatever you were thinking about.)

I keep forgetting to post things that are actually interesting happening at workies; I just keep chugging along and think to file them later and don't get to it. Bad Maus. Here's a small list:

I'm pretty sure I saw Leanord Nimoy the other week, with a lady I think was his wife. I had to noodge past them to gently admonish another couple. I'm 95 percent sure I saw Mr. Spock with a beard hanging out by the Rococco works in the back. How cool is that? It was all I could do to not yell, "Hey, You're Mr. Spock!!! I love you, Mr. Spock!!!" Self control, that's my middle name:)(Captain Emily confirms I *did* in fact see Mr. Nimoy. Did I mention he has the sweetest smile? Well, he does...)

I also ran into my friend Priscilla the other day...less famous, but still very cool. She bought a spinning wheel, and I offered to coach her whenever we both had a minute. I think it's great I'm good enough to teach other people...

There was also my run-in with the Kiss-Army-Attempted-Tandem-Booty-Call guy, being escorted by a tall rocker-goth lady with a great skully purse...the skeevy guy in question had these HUGE scars all over his face...the kind you get if you're a Meth addict scraping away at the imaginary buggies on your face. Eeeeeeew....


But today it should be pretty quiet...unless I get a group of viking mauraders in the door first thing. I'll just throw cookies at them until they go away...

He is...he's not as tall as I expected either, but most celebs in person are shorter. But he was *really* nice to the little guard who had to sneak by him:)

That ranks as equally cool to riding the elevator with Captain Jean-Luc Picard. I've heard he's not very Spock-like in RL.

My last brush with fame: I got to talk to Governor Jim Doyle last Fall. Amazing, but not a Star Trek quality brush with fame. I know a lot of people who have had a brush with fame, but the fame gets lost in the tranlation if it's second-hand fame.

I always hoped to meet Sam Shepard and Jessica Lange in Stillwater, but the closest I ever got was when a former grad scholl classmate met Sam in N'awlins. His friend went sailing w/ Mr. Shepard. Jessica and Sam don't own a place in the area any more.
