I dig me the Mexican lasagne...

...I had a great dinner last night with Ms.Annablume and her hubby Pink, along with a couple of my other friends. Ms. Blume,s a fabulous cook, and while I forget the original name of her main dish, we all agreed is was very fine Mexican lasagne and most of us had seconds:) Thanks again for the awesome dinner, ma'am! I must return the favor when I get back from my trip...

...Which starts at oh-dark-oclock tomorrow morning. Time for the last minute-tweaking of my luggage. Can I jam a small watercolor set and some paper in there, or should I be content with watercolor pencils and a pen or two? Two sets of shoes or three? Two! Three! Two! No wait--three! NonoNO, there's only really room for two!! And so on and so forth until I tire myself out and fall asleep.

But I will check in when I can, just like last time, oh yes I will. I remember there being a very cute little internet cafe off the main drag in Waikiki where I can drink iced coffee and hang out. I plan to buy a really horrible hat of some kind, and to see what kinds of cool skeery tikis I can find. Wish me lots of luck on my trip, and I'll have lots of extra fun in your honor if you're still stuck in the cold, cold freezy North...

*blows lots of kisses and thinks of more stuff to pack...ornot pack. Wait, there's room...but no. Yes. No. yes...somebody slap my hands...*

We'll be walking around in Waikiki on the morning of Feb. 24th. Soooo tempting to find that cafe! Kevin always gives me that LOOK when I talk about computer usage during our vacation. *L* It's off limits...*sigh*
