Memories: Listening to Calexico at the 400 and spontaneously drawing to the music. You were infused with creative electricity and earthy laughter. Lake St. sushi and your stories of travels to Japan. On another visit, you showed me around the minimalist inferno and we drew pictures in some interactive exhibit. (I was wee bit jealous when you told me that you got to beam up with Jean-Luc Picard). While we were eating at Joe's Garage you went to the little bats room. I sneaked an Anne Rice postcard into your grocery bag. Soon thereafter Joe's burned down. We'll have to have another platonic date over at the new reincarnated Joe's once you're all settled in.
