Falling asleep to the howling winds...

...I kind of enjoyed it, really. My new bed setup is amazingly comfortable. Almost too comfortable; it's almost sad to drag myself out of that warmth and cosiness in the morning. But we do what me must, eh? Workity workitty work work...Though I could use a whole week off to do all kinds of at-home puttering to fine-tune the new place. Anybody wanna give me a paid sabbatical? Anyone? I'll bake brownies!!!


At least I'm getting more used to my new bus route...it's just enough time for me to read a short story and wake up a touch before I get to work. I get home a little later, though. It's still not bad. It's a gorgeous neighborhood...today I had a couple of Canada Geese walking with me for a block or so to the bus stop:)

But if I paid for your sabbatical are you sure you could make it out of bed long enough to bake brownies? I Have a comfy couch.. And it sucks you in and makes you take a nap whenther you want to or not.

I suspect if Ben and Peaty came up and stuck a live chicken in my bed I'd wake up fast enough...I have to watch out for that now...at least I don't have to worry about buying eggs for baking ever again because of it. Just the occasional stray hen in my back yard trying to eat my radish seedlings...
