msfledermaus...on my friend Rob McBroom.
I am royally pissed. Michael Fallon panned him.
This guy made Rob look like an insecure idiot-savant. He concentrated a great deal on his appearance (?) and got his HAIR color wrong, for Cthuhlhu's sake!!! He made the Gus Lucky critique crowd sound like a bunch of socially inept losers, never mind everyone there has exhibited in some form for years!!! (Including myself.)
And speaking of myself..he put me in there. Using my name and everything without asking if it was okay. And made me sound like a lecherous idiot. (Before the critiue, when we were all getting ready, I asked him if there was anything we could do to make him more comfortable, since he looked so ill at ease, and cracked, "Like a footrub or anything?" (I crack jokes when I'm a little nervous.) The bastard PUT IT IN THE ARTICLE!!!!!
So I'm in the paper...and I'm not pleased.
I'm getting readly a nice concise Letter to the Editor sort of thing. *Growl* go ahead and read the article--there's no such thing as bad press is the theory, but keep in mind the facts are often way off and there was a lot more going on than Fallon mentioned.
MsEff, who'd much rather you went to the shw itself,and come to your own conclusions, both good and bad.
