It's been a busy, busy day today...TONS and hordes of children, everywhere!
grabbing and poking and shrieking and whatnot. Plus,recently most of the museum security profession is painfully aware of both the Monet that got punched in France and the Chicago case where a woman kissed an art piece and is apparently having the book thrown at her. Our professional opinion? She should have to scrub the inside of a Matthew Barney installation for a year...while he shows up to dump in extra Vaseline once a week:)

So it was a good thing I got a chance to spin a bit this morning. Between the spinning and the quiet walk to the bus stop, the nerves get a nice bit of mental quiet time before things get weird.

Meanwhile I've been running errands and cleaning up a bit at a time for the FreekeeFest this weekend. I enjoy it immensely, not least because this is the first time I can actually put up a couple of guests without sticking them on the world's tiniest sofa. (There is an air mattress involved, but it's a biggish air mattress.)
