...The other day I was hanging out in my kitchen with my neighbor Rocky; feeding him sushi and catching up on all the Island gossip. Rocky is amazing--the uncrowned monarch of thrift-scoring, among other things...I've been the beneficiary of many a cool knitty thing he's dicovered in various estate sales, and it's partially because of him I have my lovely spinning wheel...

This morning I was locking up in my little hallway and found a small bag full of little glass apertif glasses with gold rims. On the outside was a note: "For Michelle with love; Rocky."

Awwww....now I have to find some cordials to put in them. Thanks, Rocky!!!

That's cool when someone's name conjures up images of some dumb macho dude, but then they turn out to be sharp, wittty, caring, etc., unlike the Rocky on film.

Hmmm.... what to use with cordial glasses? You could put Vandermint in them and toast Mistressmedusa's impending Birthday (21 Oct)...

That's right!!! Rocky got all the brains in that duo, and Rocky was voiced over by a woman. I'll still bet that Rocky J. Sqirrel didn't have any aperatif glasses.
