I had a great weekend...two days in a row I went to the Textile Center for their holiday sale...Wowwww!! I was in wool-geek heaven. I got to play with a fairly large weaving loom and bought some nice dyed roving and an interesting old spindle. I accidentally found out the birthplace of my beat-up spinning wheel at home. (Old, old school Ashford, which is why all the parts seem to work.) I found beautiful jackets that just awed me, and lots of nice ladies that understood the whole textile obsession thing...this made me very happy:)

Good thing, too...I feel like I have a new headcold coming along, and if i have to take a day off work and drink tea, at least I can catch up with my spinning and whatnot.

Anyway, off to adjust the clip-on tie (again) and keep the toddler hordes at bay, because it's Family Day at the Jade Mines!! *readies taser*
