...I was reading a post from Jkcohen about the new Beowulf movie. I remember reading and loving the book when I studied early English Lit, so I wrote:


"I wonder what liberties they're gonna take in the movie...you *know* they have to change something, somehow. Maybe they make Grendel's mom Angelina Jolie or something, and she and Beowulf have a torrid romance that goes all wrong?"



I had NO idea I was actually right. Eeeew!!! Fetch me the puke-bucket!!!

I have to hang my head in shame and adnit I never read Beowulf, so I can't really opine about who should be cast. All I know is thank god Tom Hanks isn't in it!!!
