...I have a superpower. I do! I evolved it over time; it's not like I grew up with this or anything. But it's true. You wanna know what it is?

I can manifest yarn!

It's got to be something to do with the knitting mania; lots of people have been showing up and giving me yarn. It doesn't matter where I go or what I'm doing; someone will pop up and say, "Hey, here's a bunch of yarn I was going to make a fire extinguisher cosy out of, but I never got the hang of knitting, you have it!" Even when I'm not buying any, my stash is now huge. I'm thinking of getting a bookcase with see-through cubbyholes to put it all in. Yes, like a knitting shop. *sticks tongue out*

Okay, so it's not as cool as flight or invisibility; but at least it keeps me out of a life of crime:)

I was thinking right along those lines...I already have a nice Ikea bookcase and I was thinking to myself, "Hmmmm...I think that bookcase is lonely...i suspect I'll need another one!"

There's a few...Spider-woman and Athena are two good ones...Bridget, too. There's at least one in every pantheon; they just do other, more eye-catching things too...

I thought about the three Fates, Klothos, Lakhesis, and Atropos the minute I posted my comment... I didn't know that about Bridget... I was on an airport shuttle at LAX and across from me a tall 40-ish athletic blond type answered her mobile, "Aloha, Bridget." Sounds like a scene from American Gods. Did you ever meet the Goddess when you were in Hawai'i?
