Walking to the bus stop at Fairyland...
Dec. 12th, 2007 09:13 am...All the trees on the island are covered in hoarfrost this morning. When the sun came up, it made everything just heartbreakingly beautiful...all white and firey yellow and the sun catching sparks off the tops of the trees.
When people ask me if I mind the walk to the bus stop from where I live, I smile and reply, "Not really; I have the most beautiful walk in town to get there..."
Between the sunlight and the vitamins, I feel a little better than I have this whole last week. Not quite so snuffly, not quite so angst-ridden. I even got back to some project knitting I just didn't have the energy to finish earlier this week. (I'm almost done with two small fox-ear hats in pink and green.) I also caught up on my desperate craving for sleep, so after about 10 hours of being unconscious I'm a much more pleasant person...
..so there you are, and here I am, adjusting my clip-on and thinking of hoarfrosted trees with the sun lighting them up from behind...
