msfledermausIn January!!! In MINNESOTA!!!!! The world is coming to an end!!! And the stuff is freezing all over the sidewalks, to boot.
No, it's okay, I've even seen it happen before...very rarely, but it happens. Weird stuff. What's next, frogs?
(a bit of a joke in and of itself; the unofficial Minnesotan mascot, the mosquito, has been bumped for the more modern Minnesotan 5-legged frog. No, I'm not kidding, they've been turning up in the swamps and lakes from time to time, probably due to human pollution and such.)
I'm afraid this entry is a bit frivolous, slightly foofy- I do apologize. (Not very much, though:) the haircut went well, I'm quite taken with it, and have been foofing my hair at the slightest opportunity. The streaks go in tonight, after I make a vaseline-and-Manic-Panic run after work.
so far I've been given passionate compliments about the whole hair thing, and it makes me blush to my roots. Now if I can get the frickin-frackin modem this weekend, it's scan-city...
