Holy crap do I love that segment!

As a small child I used to obsessively watch the Gong Show. I think that explains so much about my character right there:)

I used to watch it all the time, too. I don't remember much aside from Gene Gene the Dancing Machine. (Oh, and that episode of What's Happening where Rerun was on it.) I almost forgot about The Unkown Comic! I found that in a Google search, as well as this sketch from the Carol Burnett show:
