I haven't checked in much this weekend...mostly I was sitting on various couches, going, "Buhhhhhh..." Sometimes mine, sometimes my friends. Sometimes because I was getting over the vile headcold-thing, sometimes because there was tequila involved. Tequila and knitting, by the way? Not a good combination...turned out the better combination was tequila and Youtube.
We watched everything from speed metal samisen to Bauhaus videos to various horrible deaths from the beginnings of Six Feet Under. Great stuff, I tellya!

But what about the goats, I hear you ask...Hehhehheh.

Peaty and one of our state reps (who lives down the street) seems to have found a way to get the legal paperwork for pet goats. So of course now he's shopping around for pygmy angora goats. He spent half an hour showing me baby goats online, and and and...*sigh* He's got a point. Baby goats are adorable, really. Like puppies with hooves. Except you can get cashmere off them. I can't believe I'm agreeing to this whole goat thing. *shakes head*
When did I become this Urban Agrarian, anyway? It seems to have snuck up on me so gradually, with the yarn and the knitting and the spinning wheel and now the gardening and whatnot. Scary, I tellya...

So now I need a dose of "Gene gene the dancing machine" to knock the scaries out of me. Works like a treat, for some reason...

I think my favorite part is chuck dancing along to whatever Gene's doing...he's just wigging out like a madman, cowboy hat and tuxedo on, pie still on his face, just dancing away:)

A cross between an Angora and a Pygmy is a Pygora. I raise Angoras and you would love one of them. They don't challenge fences and you won't be called at 2a.m. about your goat eating the neighbor's flowers. Not sure about the Pygora. If you need help with any questions raising your little hooved friend you can find me at yellow jacket ridge angora ranch on blogger.

I think that's the kind Peaty's looking at--there's an ad which calls the Pygora the "Cadillac of goats" with one sitting on top of--well, a Cadillac. Very cute:)

That sounds really ideal. they seem very small and sweet.

Goats can be trained to uproot the encroaching plants of eveil neighbors. Too bad they can't be trained to stop at the neighbor's plants...

Happily management is finally on the ball and took out a lot of the crazy neighbor's stuff...maybe by spring the goat can do the rest. Beeeeh!
