Errands and fun, water and sleep...

I did many fun things in the last 48 hours...

I went to Lush at the Maul. Okay, the Maul isn't really much fun, but I still got bath goop, so that part I quite enjoyed.

I got my favorite watch fixed up with a new battery. It only took 3 tries at various jewelry stores to find the right place. Heh. maybe I should get my watches fixed more often, yes?

Napping. Napping is good. Sweet, sweet slumber...

I had a couple of chartreuse martinis. Actually, I definitely had one too many and this meant I spent much of that time on the couch watching Stargate and yelling "woohoo!" or at the Sportsman mumbling into my french fries. It's not the kind of thing I do often, and it shows:) Bad, bad Maus...

Which meant I kept needing water in the middle of the night. Water tastes so good when you really really need some and you might not be able to keep it down. But I feel quite perky at the moment; at workies and being responsible and such. Got off lucky? Definitely...

So there you are.

Yup. I haven't been, but Matt and Erin have, and apparently Nina's redecorated in there...really nice food, too. They brought me some ginger syrup which is apparently Nina's secret ingredient for ginger tea...I'm thinking of trying some out tonight:)

Mmm! The ginger tea is so good. I dig that place the most - just "discovered" it my own self. It needs cocktails. Then it would be perfect.

The GF of my boss has a website called olives and twists, all things martinis...yum. I had my first one just two years ago! I believe it was an sour apple-tini. I like Oprahs martini- pomegranite.

Yessss. I found out that several vodka cocktails will see me drinking gallons and gallons of water through the night and next day.
