I had a nice quiet Date Night With Myself last night. I made some quick dinner, watched "Night at the Museum" (which is very cute!) and talked to friends on the phone. I found out that Al the Love Spud, now home with his mommy, got accidentally locked in the garage for a couple of days while his owners went outta town. Poor Love Spud! At least he's doing okay now...

The mercenary knitting is going well. I get paid for one creature today, though I still have to make his shadow-box. I'm halfway done with the two-headed one, and I've got requests for a couple more pieces. And of course this is the time of year when I want to knit stuff for me too. *sigh*
I guess I'm just gonna have to get jury duty again and spend two weeks at home knitting and calling the courthouse twice a day. Ya hear me, courthouse?!?

It was snowing when I woke up. I spent some quality time before I left home doing some speed-shoveling. Yeees, I stole the neighbor's snow again. Just the front walk and some of the side. I'ma gonna pay for my crimes, oh yes I am...

The riverside is still so beautiful, even though it's icy and snowy and mucky today. I took a tumble on the way to the bus stop. Happily I had tons of layers, so I was well-padded... Nothing bruised, even. *waggles leg appreciatively*

I have a pineapple in my fridge. The whole thing, big green top and spiny skin and all. I plan to decapitate it tonight and combine it with some orange juice and maybe some nectarines I just bought and a little coconut for some kind of tiki-fruity thing. No idea, it was just sitting there, all pineappley in the store...or maybe I just like decapitating fruit right now, I dunno...
