I miss my wool today...
Mar. 13th, 2008 12:39 pmI was having a great time before work this morning, spinning some black and green yarn on one of my drop-spindles. I was a bit sad to leave it. Yeees, it's my Friday and whatnot, but...*whimper* Such a baby I am, lately...
At least I'm in with the visiting Japanese stuff, with the poetry and kimonos and such. Very inspiring... The colors alone are stunning, never mind the mad, serious workmanship involving their manufacture. The first gallery has a robe made with the same colors I was spinning when I was home; lots of greys and blacks and spring greens melting into blue-grey again...
Methinks I need me a vacation. A vacation at home where I can play in the Rainy Day Craftroom for a long while...
