Guinness at Brit's is a wonderful thing...

I love a parade...

I met up with Ben the Neighbor over at Brit's Pub, just in time to get trampled by a bunch of Scotsmen in kilts starting up the drums and bagpipes. Scotsmen? Scotsmen! We managed to get a table near enough to a window to watch the parade go by, and we cheered a bit as we drank our Guinness and ate or fried kalimari. Peaty and Ms Kitty were late--veeeeery fashionably late. Ms Kitty was on her way back to us on the train from the airport, and Peaty was helping her navigate the transit system. *rolls eyes and grins* She caught us up on her trip to Washington D.C.--turns out a fellow Pagan won the lottery to the tune of 40 million dollars, and he's set up a pagan meditative center down that way, so her publishing company sent her as a business trip to the grand opening. It was amazing; she had a great time, and her new cellphone screen saver is a shot of ms Kitty's middle finger, aimed straight at the White House in the background...

So, all in all, a great night:)

Cool! I'm in DC as we speak. The only pagan thing I did here was drink beer and eat a crab cake sandwich and talk to the descendant of an accused and executed Salem witch...

I'd like to do Brit's again this Spring-Summer...

Crab cakes are cool, mister...and I really ought to have a look at Salem sometime, just for the interesting historical schlockiness.
