msfledermaus | Habetrot, habetrot, spin spin spin...

I spent most of yesterday walking around second floor at work, thinking, "Mannn, I wish I was home with the spinning wheel." So when I got home I made dinner, popped some "Robot Chicken" into the dvd player and spun a single with lots of funky slubs in brown, black and bits of blue, mixed with some black alpaca and a little fluffy angora that Peaty gave me from a friend's bunny. Oooh, it's a luscious, luscious thing to pet. The first skein is hanging up over the sink, drying. I have enough for a second, same as the first. Mmmmmmm...

I also have a skein of the black and red stuff I spun that's all nice and dry and wound up. It's all I can do not to de-skein it and whip out some needles. But I have other knitting stuff I should finish, and I've been so bad about finishing projects lately. My concentration's all over the place lately:/ Maybe after I finish the tank top-ish project I've been playing with I can play with the new stuff. So I'll let it taunt me a little bit and then stuff it into the nice container with the other stuff I've spun and been saving for a rainy day...
