I was goofing off on the computer before bed, playing around on Wikipedia. At first I was looking up things like stuff on the Romany tribes, since I'm reading a book about them. (I needed a break from the Tale of Genji. So far, Genji's being very responsible, even though he's hitting on his cousin, for whom he's a father-figure. How Woody Allen of him...) But of course pretty soon I ended up typing, "Sex Pistols" into the search engine, and whaddaya know? Sid Vicious couldn't actually play bass to save his life. They always muted his bass on records and sometimes pulled the plug on him live, he was so bad.

I love Wikipedia....it done make me smarter, it did...

I was reading about them there, a while back. I knew that about his bass playing, but it also said he could really sing well.

Heh, this is all news to me. They weren't really on my radar for the longest time, my being a kid and whatnot when they were big. There was this great bit Youtube had up with Sid walking around Paris, being socially reprehensible. I should go find it for you:)
