Yesterday I was talking to one of the captains, and he asked if I was the one bringing all the trashy horror books into the break room. But of course I was! Apparently he was so fascinated by the old-school Stephen King books and the copies of "Elvis and Me" and "Mommie Dearest" that he started bringing in his own trashy stuff to share in the communal book-pile. I am now reading "The Ruins" since he'd brought it in for me. My advice to you? Don't. Bother. Oooog....

At any rate, we've decided to have Trashy Book Club, where we discuss the awful stuff we've found or brought in or borrowed. I have a history of Ed Gein and at least one Mercedes Lackey book to throw in the pile. Hehhehheh...

Sometimes, you just have to read 'awful' books (although, I like Stephen King!) and they are great for losing yourself on break at work.
