Trash talkin' and whatnot...

Last night was Project Runway night. It was a little less crowded than usual--Peaty's out of town, Matt's out of town, it's not Erin's thing, and Ms. Kitty had some boyfriend issues that popped up. So Captain Emily and Ben the Neighbor and I had the couch all to ourselves with the exception of the Meezers--a couple of the housecats. I acquired a great deal of cat hair:) We all boohed what-his-face off the stage because he was such a bad sport. I showed Ben the Twilight trailer and explained why women all over the place were having meltdowns about vampiric Cedric Diggory. All in all, a really nice, low key evening.

Usually I have trouble sleeping after a Runway night, but last night wasn't bad. It helped we had another thunderstorm, even though you could hear the lightning strikes hitting the river and the echoes up and down the river cliffs. Eerie stuff. But again, oddly soothing...

I always sleep like a baby during a storm too. Now I'm curious -- what does it sound like when the lightning hits the river?

I was a little sad to see him go because I think he does have talent. I wish they would get rid of Stella already.

Keith, Stella, and Blayne ended up in the bottom three, and Keith (the guy who kept using fabric strips) was sent packing.

It sounds very strange...You get the boom, the echoes off the cliffs, sometimes an extra hissy high-note that is probably the water boiling off from the hit...it's weird.
